Youth organizations

About organization:

The public association “Jastar Ruhy,” the youth wing under the “AMANAT” party (hereinafter – Jastar Ruhy), is a voluntary association of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representing the interests of young people from various social groups. Jastar Ruhy serves as their voice in the representative and executive bodies of state power, as well as in local self-government bodies.

The main goal of Jastar Ruhy is to create favorable social, economic, political, and other conditions for the comprehensive development of youth, to strengthen their intellectual and physical potential, to improve their social status and economic well-being, and to establish high standards of political, legal, and environmental culture.

Projects:

- "No to Drugs" campaign (regularly);
- "Taza Qazaqstan" campaign (regularly);
- "QAISAR" (annually);
- "Rukhtastar" Republican Youth Award (annually);
- "Jobs for Youth" Job Fair (annually);
- "AMANAT CUP" Republican Debate Tournament (annually);
- "My Country – My Language" campaign (in progress).

Membership principles:

A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of 16, shares and supports the goals and objectives of Jastar Ruhy and actively participates in their implementation may be a member of Jastar Ruhy. Membership is individual, voluntary and fixed.

About organization:

The Public Fund "Esirtkisiz Bolashak" (public name – Esbol Qory) is the largest organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the prevention of addictive behavior, the prevention of offenses, and the promotion of a healthy and conscious lifestyle. The main activity of the fund is the primary prevention of drug and gambling (ludomania) addictions among a wide range of the country's population.

The Esbol Qory fund chairs the Central Asian Network for the Prevention of Youth Drug Addiction under the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), coordinating public preventive measures in Central Asian countries. The organization applies innovative and scientifically-based methods in its activities.

Projects:

- Monitoring of the internet space for viral-drug-related content and its blocking using the proprietary information system "MERGEN" (ongoing);
- Training of youth, parents, and teachers through UNODC training sessions (ongoing);
- The "Green Certificate" project to combat the illegal distribution of prescription drugs with addictive potential (ongoing);
- Comprehensive study of the phenomenon of ludomania in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Raids to search for and eliminate drug-related advertisements in cities (ongoing);
- Creation of preventive and informational content online (ongoing).
