What is a Youth Resource Centre?
A Youth Resource Centre or YRC is an organisation that promotes the social and personal development of young people and supports the activities of youth organisations.
The main tasks of the YRC are:
- To assist in preparation for employment and career guidance, to improve digital literacy, and to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among young people;
- Development of vital skills, competence and autonomy of young people through non-formal education;
- Provision of pro bono psychological, counselling and legal assistance to young people;
- Development of volunteer activities among young people, work with young families and assist young people in preparing for family life;
- Implementation of projects and programmes in various areas based on the interests and needs of young people;
- Support for youth organisations, movements and youth self-governance bodies.
