Basic rules for admission to Kazakhstani universities
In order to enter a university, an applicant must:
- have completed secondary education, which is confirmed by a certificate;
- have secondary specialized education (for example, graduated from college);
- You may have previously received higher education.

Methods of submitting documents for enrollment in universities
Offline (on purpose)
Submitting an application for admission through the university admissions committee
To apply to the university you must provide the following documents:
- application addressed to the head of the organization for admission in any form;
- identification document;
- document on general secondary (general secondary), technical and vocational (primary and secondary vocational, post-secondary) or higher education (original);
- 6 photographs measuring 3x4 cm;
- medical certificate form 086-u (issued at the clinic at the place of attachment or other medical organization);
- UNT or comprehensive testing certificate;
- certificate of award of an educational grant (if available).
Service delivery time: 1 business day.
The end result of the service: a receipt for acceptance of documents and an order for enrollment in a higher educational institution.

Submitting an application for enrollment through the website egov.kz
To submit an application through the site you must:
- obtain an EDS (electronic digital signature);
- log in and submit an application.
Attach scanned copies of the following documents to your application for admission to the university:
- a document on general secondary, technical and vocational (primary and secondary vocational, post-secondary) or higher education;
- medical certificate form 086-U;
- digital photograph measuring 3x4 cm.
Service delivery time: 1 business day.
Intermediate result of the provision of the service: receipt of notification of acceptance of documents for enrollment in a university in the form of an electronic document signed with an electronic digital signature or a reasoned response of refusal.
After you receive a notification about the acceptance of documents for enrollment in a university, you must provide the originals of the following documents (within the deadlines determined by the university):
- application addressed to the head of the organization for admission in any form;
- identity document (for identification);
- document on general secondary (general secondary), technical and vocational (primary and secondary vocational, post-secondary) or higher education (original);
- 6 photos size 3x4; medical certificate form 086-U;
- UNT or comprehensive testing certificate, as well as a certificate of award of an educational grant (if available).
The end result of the service: a receipt for acceptance of documents and an order for enrollment in a higher educational institution.
