A project to preserve the reproductive health of young people has been launched

Today, an online briefing was held on the launch of the project "Providing consulting services on the preservation of reproductive health among young people".

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shahmardan Baymanov, the chairman of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives Lima Diaz, the executive Director of the public association "JANYM" Natalia Kluzhina.

Sh. Baymanov spoke about the importance of protecting the reproductive health of adolescents and the program documents being implemented.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to hold online meetings in 17 regions of Kazakhstan, including in rural areas, in educational organizations, organize training sessions for helpline consultants, provide qualified consultations by medical professionals on the hotline on the prevention of early pregnancy, contraceptive methods, sexually transmitted diseases, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, as well as conduct awareness-raising activities.

The project is implemented by the public association "JANYM" as part of the grant funding of the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
