The student body represents a certain part of the youth, which has both common features with all youth and specific features. The special characteristics of such a social group as students are formed, as a rule, under the influence of the economic and cultural development of society. The purpose of the study is to determine the social portrait of modern Kazakhstani students. The object of the study was the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged from 14 to 29 years old (youth) undergoing training in higher, as well as technical and professional educational institutions, that is, student youth of Kazakhstan.
