How to repay a fine by paying 50% of its amount

Conditions for payment of a 50% fine

The right to pay an administrative fine in the amount of 50% of the total amount can be used within 7 days from the moment of its registration.

The payment of a fine with a discount is considered in the form of a shortened proceeding in the case of an administrative offense. It is applied if the person who committed the offense complies with the following conditions:

recognition of the fact of committing an offense;
consent to pay a fine of 50%;
not appealing the evidence presented.
Holidays and weekends are not taken into account when calculating 7 days.

For example, on Monday, August 1, a protocol was issued. The countdown starts on Tuesday, the 2nd, and the discount is valid until August 10, inclusive (Wednesday of the following week), taking into account weekends. It is impossible to take advantage of the opportunity to pay 50% of the specified fine amount in accordance with Article 810 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses if:

other types of penalties are provided, except for a warning;
the person who committed the offense has privileges and immunity;
The case of an administrative offense is considered by the state revenue authorities, the authorized body for regulation, control and supervision of the financial market and financial organizations, as well as the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the place where the offense was committed

At the place of the offense, a copy of the protocol on an administrative offense with a receipt of the established sample is handed over (in electronic production at the request of the offender) and the right to pay a fine in the amount of 50% of the amount of the fine specified in the sanction is explained within 7 days.

In case of payment of a fine in the amount of 50% of the specified amount within 7 days, the case is considered to have been considered on its merits, the decision has entered into force, and the person has been brought to administrative responsibility.
