Persons guilty of domestic violence may be brought to administrative liability under Article 73 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Administrative Offences» If their actions constitute a criminal offence, they are liable to criminal prosecution under the following articles of the Criminal Code: 109 (beating), 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (torture), 131 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (insult)
How to call for help (options depending on the situation)
- Call the police at 102 with a verbal report of violence.

- In case of injury, you need to call ambulance number 103 and a police officer will refer you to a forensic examination.
