Bullying at school?

Bullying at school?

What is “bullying” at school

Aggressive and unwanted attention (bullying) towards one child from other children.

What should parents do?

If you find out that your child is being humiliated at school, you must immediately take action to prevent the situation from happening again:

If your child has become the object of humiliation from other students (verbal abuse, physical humiliation, extortion), you should raise this issue with the class teacher and the school principal.

Involve the local juvenile affairs inspector assigned to the school in finding out the reasons for the incident.

Depending on the severity of the situation, you can write a complaint to the administration or education department at the location of the school.

You, as a parent, need to be as tactful and attentive as possible to your child while the proceedings are taking place, so as not to cause him even greater psychological harm.

You need to carefully ensure that while identifying the causes of the situation, your child does not become the object of ridicule and hidden bullying from other children.

Where should I go?

Contact your child's school psychologist. Communicate with him more, do not let him withdraw into himself and from now on always be interested in what is happening in his life.

If your child has been insulted or humiliated by a teacher, you need to notify the school management about the incident, and also write a complaint to the administration or education department at the location of the school.

You and your child can call the helpline of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights:

8 (717) 274 25 28, 87782898157 or national telephone line 150.
