Kazakh judokas Talgat Orynbasar and Zhanarys Rakhmetkali became bronze medalists at the 2023 World Youth Championship, Vesti.kz reports.
Orynbasar competed in the weight category up to 60 kilograms. In the fight for bronze, the Kazakhstani defeated Georgian Kako Chapurishvili.
Another winner of bronze in this weight was the Egyptian Yousri Sami. The winner in this weight category was Japanese Yamato Fukuda, and Nizami Imranov from Azerbaijan took silver.
Rakhmetkali competed in the weight category up to 66 kilograms. In the fight for bronze, the Kazakhstani was stronger than Viljar Lipard from Estonia.
