According to official data, most of the young people who are not in a hurry to start a family live in Almaty, Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions.
  "In January-June 2023, 53,835 marriages were performed across the republic. 64 percent of it is in the city, 36 percent belongs to the villages. The rate of increase in the age of first marriage of men and women is observed. For example, in the last 5 years, men have increased from 27-6 years to 28 years. For women, it has increased from 25 to 25.2," says Bibigul Mirasbek, an expert of the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
There are various reasons why young people are not in a hurry to get married. One prioritizes achieving goals, while the other avoids responsibility.
Even medical experts do not support young marriages. Doctors say that the most suitable age for having a child is 18 to 25.
"If a man and a woman are over 27-30 years of age, if the quality of sperm is poor in a man, and if the ovarian reserve is low in a woman, double fertility may occur. "3 out of 10 men who marry late may end up with infertility," says urologist-doctor Azamat Sandybayuly.
