National inclusive games for special children were held in Astana

The republican competition for national inclusive games among children with disabilities “Zhuldyzai - 2023” has ended in the capital, Kazinform correspondent reports. More than 500 Kazakhstani athletes aged 10-16 years from 16 regions of the country took part in the competition. The Zhuldyzai Foundation annually holds such a unique tournament. Deputy Director of the Zhuldyzai Foundation Almagul Salimbaeva noted that by holding the tournament, the Foundation seeks to draw the attention of society and government agencies to the importance of sports for children with disabilities. - We are glad that more than 500 children have found the opportunity to come to the capital. They were helped by the regional Departments of Sports, Education, and Akimats so that they could see the capital, communicate, and most importantly, show their sportsmanship. Many children saw the capital for the first time. We conducted excursions and tried to ensure that all competitions were held in the best sports complexes in the capital. For our children, this is a great motivation to play sports and develop their skills,” said Almagul Salimbaeva. A representative of the Foundation called for creating conditions for the opening of more sports clubs and sections intended for children with disabilities. Senior athletics judge Dauren Sharipov also spoke about the importance of holding such events for special children. - From all representatives of the regions I would like to express gratitude.
