The opening of an IT hub for youth took place in the Mangystau region

A Mangystau IT hub will be opened in the Mangystau region for adaptation in the field of information technology and the creative industry, the press service of the region’s akim reported. The center is scheduled to open in December 2023. The opening was announced by the representative of the international technopark of IT startups "Astana Hub" in Mangistau Aigerim Mazhtai at a meeting of the regional council for youth affairs with the participation of the head of the region Nurlan Nogaev. According to Mazhtai, the center will open on the basis of the Youth Resource Center of the Mangistau Region. The main goal of the IT hub for youth is to train high-quality IT specialists for the global information technology market and increase the level of digitalization of the region. Representatives of public organizations also opened an exhibition of social projects for the region’s youth. These are projects funded by the Youth Policy Directorate aimed at training young leaders. According to the akimat, young people aged 14 to 35 make up 29.8% of the region's population.
