Kazakh schoolchildren set a record for playing togyzkumalak

A massive intellectual game of togyz kumalak was held in Almaty. 2028 schoolchildren played togyzkumalak at the same time and set a record, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the ministry, this achievement was recorded by a representative of the Book of Records of Kazakhstan. Togyzkumalak Day was celebrated not only in Kazakhstan, but also in a number of countries around the world: Uzbekistan, China, Mongolia, Latvia, Romania, Bangladesh, Turkey and Colombia. From September 21 to 24, 2023, the Togyzkumalak World Championship among schoolchildren (U-15, U-17) in rapid and blitz will be held at the ADD Table Tennis Center in Almaty.
