"We plan to continue this work and introduce new mechanisms to support the domestic film market. Now we have short-term and long-term tasks that we must complete. This primarily concerns the improvement of the current Law "On Cinematography", rules and regulations. We also plan to digitalize the procedure for submitting documents for the competition," Kurmanbek Zhumagali said. The audience got acquainted with such works as "Bauyryna Salu" by Askhat Kuchinchirekov, which will be presented at the prestigious film festival in Spain in October, the action-thriller "Golden Eagle" by Daniyar Ibragimov with an impressive cast in the person of Sanzhar Madi, Dauren Sergazin, Asylkhan Tolepov, Gulnaz Zholanova and others. The participants of the film market saw a new work by Adilkhan Yerzhanov "Rhinoceros" and a musical film based on the songs of "A-Studio" - "Soldier of Love" by Farhat Sharipov. The audience was particularly interested in two projects: the action drama about corruption "Zhaza" by Maxim Akbarov and the debut work of Aitor Zholdaskali about the origin of the Kazakh rap "Shulama".
