Kazakh schoolchildren won four medals at the European Olympiad in Computer Science
From September 8 to 14 of this year, the national team took part in the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics EJOI-2023 in Georgia. 96 participants from 24 countries of the world competed for the title of the strongest, Kazinform MIA reports with reference to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
EJOI follows the rules and standards of the IOI International Olympiad in Computer Science. This is a significant event, a step in the development of the elite of the IT industry in the member states of the Council of Europe.
As a result , the national team of Kazakhstan won four medals:
Gold - Mamadakhunov Mansur – 9th grade student of the regional boarding lyceum for gifted children No.9 named after S. Shaukhamanov "Bilim-Innovation", Kyzylorda;
Silver - Serikbai Sangat – 10th grade student of the specialized boarding lyceum for gifted young men "Bilim-Innovation", Taraz;
Silver - Amenov Alem – 9th grade student of the specialized boarding school for gifted boys "Bilim-Innovation", Semey;
Bronze - Aldamzharov Alisher is a student of the 10th grade of the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics, Almaty.
