The Bureau of National Statistics has published information on the average age of residents of Kazakhstan and named the "youngest" regions of the country, Zakon.kz reports. According to the state statistical agency, as of the beginning of 2023, the average age of Kazakhstanis was 32.1 years. Over the past five years, the average resident of the country has become somewhat older. "The average age of men at the beginning of this year was 30.5 years, women - 33.7 years. The average age of urban residents is higher than that of villagers: 32.6 and 31.5 years, respectively," the Bureau of National Statistics noted. The most "mature" region of Kazakhstan is North Kazakhstan, where the average age of residents is 38.9 years. The "youngest" regions are Mangistau and Turkestan regions.
