A front office for drug addiction and drug-related crime prevention opened in Almaty

The grand opening of a front office for the prevention of drug addiction and drug-related crime took place in Almaty as part of the EsirtkisizQAZAQSTAN project.

The initiative is being implemented by the Esbol Qory public foundation (Foundation "Future Without Drugs") with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives.

Goals and functions of the front office:

- Teaching life skills to youth, parents, and teachers;

- Conducting comprehensive, systemic preventive measures;

- Training anti-drug activists in accordance with UNODC international standards;

- Monitoring the drug situation in Almaty and developing effective preventive solutions.

The creation of such front offices is part of the national strategy to strengthen public safety and build sustainable anti-drug immunity in society.

The front office is located at 6a/1 Serikova Street, Almaty.
