Today, the “Youth” Research Center under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with Turan-Astana University, held a meeting with students at the Jastar X dialogue platform dedicated to the draft new Constitution and the national referendum.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Qazcontent JSC, the head of the national youth organization, the Rector and Vice-Rector of Turan-Astana University, faculty, students, experts, and media representatives.
The meeting featured speeches by Turan-Astana University Rector, PhD in Economics, Professor Gulzhamal Japarova, Chairman of the Board of Qazcontent JSC Ayna Zadabek, and Head of the Republican Headquarters of the Youth Labor Brigades “Zhasyl El” Nurasyl Bekmatov. The speakers provided a detailed description of the draft new Constitution and emphasized that the national referendum is an important step in developing the legal culture of citizens, especially young people. Gulishan Nakhbaeva, Director of the Youth Research Center and moderator of the dialogue platform, presented information about the center’s research activities and digital resources, and also presented the Jastar AI virtual consultant project.
As the center’s director noted, the project’s main goal is to ensure the accessibility and quality of information on state youth policy, including youth support programs. The AI-powered virtual consultant, including a chatbot, provides consultations in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
At the end of the meeting, the experts answered students’ questions, emphasized the importance of further discussion of constitutional reform and its impact on the country’s development, and expressed satisfaction with the dialogue with young people.
Following the event, the Youth Research Center and Turan-Astana University signed a memorandum of scientific cooperation.
