Artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part of education and everyday life. But how prepared are young people to use it, and how do they assess its impact?
According to the research findings:
62.9% rate the importance of studying AI technologies in the education system at 4–5 on a five-point scale.
52.2% rate the importance of using AI in their studies or work at 4–5 on a five-point scale.
52.3% rate the impact of AI on the quality of learning in the future at 4–5 on a five-point scale.
27.0% rate the impact of AI on the development of critical thinking at 3 points.
26.2% rate their ability to recognize AI-generated content at 3 points.
The research findings show that young people generally recognize the importance of artificial intelligence in education and professional activities. At the same time, assessments of AI’s impact on critical thinking and the ability to recognize AI-generated content tend to be moderate. This highlights the need to develop digital literacy, critical thinking, and the skills required to use AI technologies responsibly.
