А meeting of the Organizing Committee for the coordination of work on the preparation and holding of the national competition "Mereili otbasy" was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva.
The Organizing Committee included a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament, members of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy akims of the regions, representatives of ministries, media, NGOs and public figures.
“We are starting the traditional annual national competition“ Mereili otbasy ”. The competition initiated by the Elbasy has become truly popular. Every year we see how Kazakhstanis participate in this project with great enthusiasm and interest. During the existence of the national project, more than 15 thousand families of our country took part in the "Mereili otbasy" competition. This is another evidence that projects promoting family values in our society are in demand and are popular among Kazakhstanis, ”A. Balayeva said.
The Minister noted the importance of the National Competition, which is aimed at reviving moral values and raising the status of the family.
Also during the event, new changes in the competition were announced. Aida Balaeva: "Previously, only one family won at the republican level. Starting this year, all 17 families that have become winners at the regional level will be awarded the title of laureates of the competition and will be awarded equal awards."
At the same time, starting this year, the commission for submitting applications for participation in the competition, awarding according to the results of the competition, determining the results of the competition should include not only representatives of civil society, but also the former winners of the competition; contractual changes have been made to a new point system for determining and evaluating winners.
Let us remind you that the acceptance of documents for the national competition "Mereilі otbasy" will last until June 15.
The awards ceremony for the laureates of the competition is held annually in September, on the eve of Family Day in Kazakhstan.
